Die is a deeply troubled individual. She is a high-functioning sociopath with no sincere regard for human life. Her actions are motivated by a constant pursuit of flawless success. ⇾ Overture. A high-quality, powerful, double-action revolver that can hold six .42 calibre rounds in its cylinder. By default, it comes with glowing iron sights.
⇾ Uniform. Trauma Team Standard Uniform. A green jumpsuit over a white cotton shirt and thermal leggings. A helmet, knee pads, shoulder pads, red longarm rubber latex gloves, and an armoured chest piece.
⇾ First Aid Kit. A medical kit with the tools necessary to stabilise a client. Comes with a defibrillator.
⇾ Toolbag. A separate bag with the tools necessary to work on cyberware.
⇾ Style. Outside of work, Die carries herself in vintage military clothing. A tank top, bomber jacket, cargo pants, and a pair of combat boots would suffice any day. She doesn't wear jewellery but likes to put on make-up. She barely has any trace of cybernetic augmentation, save for when her Kiroshi Optics glow when transferring data.

Dietmaris "Die" Hicks was born in Pacifica's combat zone, around the worst of humanity and poverty. Her younger brother was killed in an airstrike targeting a defected scientist. The strike was approved by an Arasaka executive and the NCPD, under the pretence of eliminating a terrorist threat. Dietmaris watched her brother die in her arms and was unable to save him, which led to her becoming a combat medic in Pacifica.
On a particularly bad day, an Arasaka squad engaged with her in pursuit of a corpo, Uma Goode, who was a suspected financial leak. Die snapped and went into a blood-lusted rage, killing the squad of six. The target survived, but was critically injured and negotiated her safety. Die stabilised her and saved her life in exchange for intel on the Arasaka executive who ordered the airstrike on the day of her brother's death. His name was Marcus Koenig.
The Trauma Team's response was suspiciously delayed because Arasaka had pressured them not to respond. Uma Goode was a corporate problem. When the Trauma Team arrived on site and saw their client was still alive, they exposed themselves to a potential lawsuit and, to avoid legal action, they recruited Die. That also allowed them to keep her under surveillance and prevent her from exposing their negligence. Die accepted, knowing that working for the Trauma Team would bring her closer to Koenig and give her the opportunity for revenge. Furthermore, it meant holding all the exec's lives in her hands. Quite literally.
