• HISTORY​
  
  Deimos, born under the name Mesidie was a boy that grew up in the depths of Pacifica. He ran the streets of the combat zone unimpeded due to his parents being apart of the Voodoo boys. Deimos' parents were both known to be expert netrunners during their time, both initially brought into the fold to aid in the goal of breaching the black wall. They were fools and in one of their attempts to breach led to their brains being fried orphaning the young Deimos.
  
  Without his parents the only person looking out for Deimos at this point in his life was Mama Ume, an older woman who took pity on the boy. She allowed the orphan to stay with her and even took to teaching the boy the arts of netrunning. Not only that but also education, martial arts and how to properly use firearms. The young boy would grow into a man under Mama Ume's teachings. Some thought she was grooming him to take a higher rank in the Voodoo boys and replace her due to her retiring. Yet, despite this Mesidie could not take the position. He'd learned the truth of what the Voodoo boys and Madame Bridgitte sought. Turning away from their ambitions he left the gang and became a freelancer.
  
  Leaving Pacifica and integrating with the rest of Night City opened doors for a skilled netrunner. At first it was small gigs here or there for Mesidie, at least until he gained a reputation for himself. He was known to be in and out before some would even notice. Though it was on one job for the Tyger Claws that Deimos ran across an enemy netrunner and fried them that he started to build his reputation. No longer was he being hired simply for Netrunning jobs, but to hunt other Netrunners as well. In the net and Night City he became known as Deimos due to his use of illicit and dangerous black ice programs to fry other Netrunners even hacking into others directly and controlling them.
