HISTORY
Catalina Reyez grew up working class. Arturo Reyez, one year Catalina's elder, became an acclaimed cybersecurity expert at Arasaka, while Catalina leveraged her skills into joining Arasaka Counterintelligence. She is a talented operative and her commitment to the job has cost her dearly in terms of friendships and relationships, especially when uncovering corruption or other malfeasance within Arasaka itself (see, e.g., Friends and Enemies section). No one would know that behind that glacial commitment to her job, rage at corporate abuses of working people is a rage that has been simmering away for twenty years.
