Personality:

The two parts of Henry's personality seem to be in constant tension with one another. On the one hand, he is brilliant, with an uncanny grasp of cyberware design, allowing his designs to push theoretical limits of existing cyberware data infrastructure. He is a dedicated and driven individual, but that kind of devotion to a particular goal and lifestyle comes at something of a cost; he is not the most easily sociable person. It's not that he's not interested in it, but there seems to be a transparent wall that separates him from deep social connections. The people he considers friends are really employees, and though he is generally a nice person who treats his staff well, on some level he recognizes that they're not really friends so much as friendly.

That's not to say that he doesn't like people, or that he doesn't view people as valuable. He genuinely cares about people and about humanity, which is what drives his dedication to his craft.

History:

Born in the United Kingdom to a pair of midlevel corporate directors, Henry is the middle child. He has an older brother (Liam) and a younger sister (Eloise). He was gifted in mathematics and science at school, and took an interest in cybernetics from his early teens. It soon became clear that he had an almost unnatural ability with cyberware. He won a prestigious scholarship to a London-based research fellowship and went to Cambridge University to hone his skills. He participated pretty frequently in cyberware coding jams and other competitions, where he began to build a reputation.

Following a win in a big design competition, he started his own design firm. He has been courted by corporations in London, Moscow, Tokyo, and Night City, and has recently come to Night City to shop his designs to the corps there.
